"The staff and children loved DR ME. It fitted in brilliantly with mental health week and the teachers felt it supports the values we promote in school. Parents have mentioned that they love the idea too and it's great that we have done it as a school. So VERY positive all round!
Mr Neil Saunders, Deputy Headteacher, The Michael Syddall CofE Primary School, February 2019
DR ME sessions are completely tailored to the needs of your school. Sessions are fully inclusive and are relevant to all children, including those with SEN. Workshops can cater for up to 100 children at a time, space providing, and can last anything between ½ day-5 days.
Teachers will benefit from the sessions as no planning or marking is necessary and will be able to spend time focusing on how to improve their health, as well as that of their pupils.
After school workshops are also offered to work with parents and/or teachers to reinforce the key DR ME messages the pupils will have received during the day.
All workshops are all eligible for PE Premium funding.
